13-Marine-1:

13-MARINE-1 is 15' Zodiac rescue craft powered by a 55hp Johnson Military grade outboard motor.  This unit is used for water rescue during the summer months and ice rescue during the winter months.  The unit is equipped with warning lights, a search light, a floating backboard, basic medical equipment, and water rescue gear.

The unit was purchased from the US Navy for $500.00 with a donation from a fire department member.  The unit was restored by fire department members with donated restoration paint from TuffCoat SRC.  The trailer was donated by Scott Smith Towing, and the floating backboard was donated by the Mt. View Association.
