2008-2009 Project: New Defibrillator
Unit
The Owls Head - Mt. View Fire Department is currently trying to raise
$12,000 to purchase a more advanced lifepack 12 defibrillator unit. These devices would allow EMTs
within the department to have instant access to a patient's vital signs at
all times allowing for more decisive advanced lifesaving
interventions. The lifepack 12 unit will also allow for advanced
cardiac monitoring and more advanced medical care onboard our
Ambulance unit.
